bueno no es k sean el mejor festival de los ultimos meses pero bueno un fin de semana mas ahi estare y celebrando mi cumpleaños. a ver si el holandes nos sorprende tanto como sorprendio catscan hara justamente un año este finde. de j.d.a no espero nada mas k nada porke ya lo he visto dos veces en al competencia y es muy mediocre. no entiendo como alguien pouede vivir tanto de su pasado, un tema k hizo hace años sirve de publicidad en el pont y tambien lo fue en mataro.

   History:
Martijn first came in contact with hardcore when he heared the Thunderdome CD's together with his sister. Directly he was infected with the hardcore virus, and also wanted to make hardcore music himself. With a program he got from a friend called 'MMEdit' he began making his first hardcore tracks. This was still for fun, and after a while he switched over to another program called 'Impulse Tracker'. This program was much better and the options were infinite. Years went by when Martijn met Erkan Coskunsu (MC Syco), organistor of the Oldschool Madness-parties and MC of the Shadowlands Terrorists. MC Syco gave him the chance to perform a live-act in Metropool, Hengelo at one of the Oldschool Madness-parties.

In the summervacations Martijn worked hard to get some money. With this money he bought himself a sampler, mixer and some speakers. When he had some tracks finished he sent a couple of demo's to different recordlabels, including Cardiac Music, known from labels like Gangsta & Supreme Intelligence, Enzyme, Bionic Recordings etc. This was in the beginning of 2002. According to Bart Revier (Endymion) and Patrick van Kerckhoven (Ruffneck) the tracks weren't good enough, although it was one of the best demo's recieved in a long time. In that same time Martijn bought himself more equipment such as a Korg Z1 synthersizer and a Roland Juno 2.

After more than a year of improving his music, he gave it another shot, and sent a new demo to Cardiac. He received an email from Bart Revier, who told that the demo was good enough this time. An appoinment was made with the people from Cardiac Music, and a couple of months later the first release together with Koen Spronk (Archetype) on Bionic Recordings hit the streets. The track 'Reality' was also licensed for a few compilation-CD's and was played by many DJ's. Prowler's next release (Bionic 08) will be containing 4 brand new tracks, and he's already busy working on newer ones... so keep a eye on Bionic Recordings!
