Hello people! I found this website only today and liked it very much :D
I'm from Italy so I have some difficulties when I read this site because I can't speak/read spanish :P
I love makina very much but unluckily there are very few makina lovers in my nation so I am almost alone :-[
It's a pleasure to stay here for me, bye bye amigos (the only spanish word I know :P)

I know that there's so much people in Italy who like makina music, so maybe you could tell to other friends about us and, who knows, maybe in a nearly future there are more "italian makiners" here and it would be good, for sure. It was sheer chance that I discovered this fantastic kind of music :D I was downloading a file named: "xque+pcp-sesiones"
The music was very very interesting, much time later I discovered the true name of that music, it was: Take me there. That was my first makina track and after that I falled in love with makina :laugh: After about 2 years I'm here and supporting you all in order to keep high the name of this music till I can. Hasta pronto! ;D
(Translated into italian to who wants to learn it ;D : E' stato per puro caso che ho scoperto questo fantastico tipo di musica. Stavo scaricando un file intitolato: "xque+pcp-sesiones". Makina is not played in Italy :'( Hardcore is the only kind of music over-160 bpm that dj's usually play and it's played on northen Italy only. In the southern Italy, where I live, the only kind of music that dj's play is house and techno :'(

I personally divide dance music into 2 categories:
- Commercial dance: It's the ultimate evolution of dance music. The one that you can hear on compilation like Hit mania dance. It is created by artists like Gabry Ponte, Dj Ross, Prezioso, Gigi d'Agostino,
- Dance '90-'95: It's the old style of dance, the most important artists are Double you, Datura, Indiana, La Bouche.
Both commercial and Dance '90-'95 are almost "dead" in our nation. These songs can be found on cd only. At limit, If you are lucky you might find a dancefloor where they play commercial dance. House music instead is played everywhere ;)
So there aren't so many dancefloor where you can hear dance music, that's a pity >:(

- Commercial dance: It's the ultimate evolution of dance music. The one that you can hear on compilation like Hit mania dance. It is created by artists like Gabry Ponte, Dj Ross, Prezioso, Gigi d'Agostino,
- Dance '90-'95: It's the old style of dance, the most important artists are Double you, Datura, Indiana, La Bouche.
Both commercial and Dance '90-'95 are almost "dead" in our nation. These songs can be found on cd only. At limit, If you are lucky you might find a dancefloor where they play commercial dance. House music instead is played everywhere ;)
So there aren't so many dancefloor where you can hear dance music, that's a pity >:(

Something you wrote in one of your posts surprised me. You sayed that one of the most important producer of old, non-comercial dance music was DATURA. Did U know that a song called "El sueño" from Datura was a superhit in actual Makina/hardcore discos like Pont Aeri some years ago??
Oh, and another thing, I thought that a style quite similar to Makina called Hardtrance was popular in Italy some years ago, correct me if I'm wrong.
Oh the name of our style is called Mákina, and it is pronounced the same way you say car in italian. ;)
For ending my welcome post, I'd like to recomend you my favourite Makina song.It's called "La danza feliz" and it was produced by "Dj el Brujo & Maquiabelik". It is a bit old but I love it.Try to find it somewhere in internet and I hope you'll enjoy it.

I must confess I didn't know that, and I'm happy to read that songs like this are still played! But, If a remember well, the original version of El sueño has been created on 1994. I was also referring to songs like Infinity (1995), Angeli Domini(1995), Yerba del Diablo (1992), Fade to grey(1994) etc ;)

I live in a place where this kind of music is totally unknown. I know this style thanks to internet, because I have the opportunity to exchange cultural information about music 8) Anyway I think you're not wrong because I often read notices about hardtrance sets in some dancefloors in the northern Italy.

I`ve heard that there are many discos near of perugia, about 30 km, but in these disco only are techno music, is this true?? what type of music is heard in umbria o in perugia??? where are you from?? i hope to arrive perugia with my pc full makina's music, so if you want to hear god music tell me hehehe

Sorry but I can't say to you what kind of music is played in umbria because I'm from Bari (Puglia / South-East of Italy) and I'm too far from there :P
