Sobretodo, que el bakalao es una mezcla de diferentes estilos combinados en sesiones, y la makina es un estilo con entidad propio, velocidad, sonidos,...
PLAY!:
More or less it's what "charlie" saids, Bakalao it was the beginning of Makina, it was from Valencia in the end of 80's beginning 90's, it was more similar than techno ( so, bakalao it was an evolution, as well, from other styles). After that, it was an evolution and the sounds became more simple and melodical. The way to mix it changed as well; before, with the Bakalao the music was slower and it was mixed, usually, just with 2 decks, now with the Makina we use to mix in a faster velocities, and very frenetik rithm and we use the use three decks or more, and some people doesn't like this. This is a very, very simple and nuff sumary between makina and bakalao, and that's all that I can explain with my really simple English, I'm sorry.

Siento mi pobre inglés, pero la intención ha sido la mejor.

bakalao is closer to acid house and can be considered early rave music. Makina is the spanish version of the happy hardcore and obviously an evolution of the bakalao.
Then you have makina actual, that has nothing to do with bakalao and is an evolution of makina taking influences from the dutch hardcore.
